Eero Hämeenniemi

Eero Hämeenniemi is a Finnish composer, writer and pianist. His newest projects include
a large work Lux et Tenebrae  for Baroque instruments, choir, soloists, four organs, a regale and harpsichord,
to be premiered in the Helsinki Cathedral (18.3.2016), a book of translations from Classical
Tamil-language poetry into Finnish Yön tulva (Basam Books, 2015) and a series of free improvisation
concerts with another Circolo alumnus, Esa Pietilä.
