Ingrid Z. Aanestad (b. 1983) is a writer from the Norwegian west coast, currently living and working in Oslo. She has written four novels published by the renowned publishing house Oktober, the latest being Sun, she says, published 2013.

Identity, intimacy, gender, power and the dramas of everyday life are key words in her literary production. Aanestads language is often described as poetic, tranquil, sad and funny.
