KRISTINA SVÄRD

Kristina Svärd (b.1973) is a Swedish writer for film and television. 2013 she was awarded Sandrews film grant in Sweden. She lived several years in Venice, Italy and intends to spend her time in Rome to work on a story set in the same city. 

She also directed shortfilms. Her short documentary "Vart tar alla bilar vägen när dom dör?" (Where cars go when they die?) was broadcast 2008 on Swedish Television, and is about her uncle who has more old cars than he can count for, but the women in his life, his wife and daughters, have little understanding of his passion for saving old cars from the junkyard.
