Are Blytt's (b. 1981) praxis embraces abstract painting and is focused on painterly questions, while also challenging them and testing the limits of painting. The relationship between image and text, and the relationship between painting and photography, are essential in his works, relating to current social and political questions which makes them both formally and conceptually charged.
