CAROLINA HINDSJÖ

Carolina Hindsjö (b.1972) lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden. Her mother is from Finland and her dad from Sweden.

She makes drawings, animations and writes texts. Her work often starts with a sentence. 

The storyteller Carolina wants to show people stories about love, faith and the essence of the human kind. She writes about philosophy, politics and theology. 

The figures often have animal or doll heads because you can easily show a persons personality by giving them an animal or a doll head. The colours often mean something. For example red can have the meaning of blood. She has made a black and white film because she wanted to explore the tense of the two colours together. And the grayscale. Then it was the shapes that said if the objects were good or evil. The animations are like paintings.

To explore feminism in religion is very important. She explores her faith.
