KAROLINA ERLINGSSON
"I’m interested in storytelling, the experience of time and to find ways of describing presence through absence. In several of my works I’ve investigated the special relationship that exists between Voice - Narrative - Sound - Movement, a relationship where translations, interpretations and transitions create new meanings."
Karolina Erlingsson (b. 1980, Simlångsdalen) is a Swedish artist based in Malmö, Sweden. She has studied Art history and Fine art in Sweden and in Portugal, and she received her MFA from Malmö Art Academy, Sweden in 2008. Erlingsson was selected for a IASPIS residency in Cairo in 2010.
