Writer, poet, translator and journalist | Finland
Mårten Westö (b. 1967) is a Finland-Swedish writer, poet, translator and journalist. His latest works include a collection of short stories, ”Som du såg mig då” (2014), and a non-fiction book, ”Eremenko – Berättelsen om en fotbollsfamilj” (2016). Mårten Westö has translated some thirty novels, non-fiction books and plays from Finnish and English into Swedish, and writes regularly for the biggest Swedish speaking newspapers in Finland, mostly about literature, music and sports. He has two grown-up sons, and lives in Helsinki with his wife, Henrika, who is also a writer.
