MADS MYGIND

I am a poet with 5 published books. My book “Til den lyse morgen” has recently been translated to French.

I am President in a literary association group called Litteraturen på Scenen (www.lips.dk) and a member since 2005. I teach literature and creative writing in several schools and universities in Denmark.

I studied Nordic Language and Literature at Aarhus University for six years.

I spent October and November 2011 in an artist residency north of New York (Ledig House, Omi International Arts Center). For my works I have received several grants and scholarships from the arts council in Aarhus, The Danish Writers Association, and The Danish Arts Foundation.
